Project ECHO / Bone Health Background
- The first Bone Health ECHO was started by Dr. Michel Lewiecki in 2015, patterning this program after the inaugural ECHO 'all teach, all learn' template that had been started for Hepatitis C training. The idea of an ECHO program is to disseminate state-of-the-art knowledge through a series of regular, virtual meetings, which consists of short presentations on a topic of interest followed by discussion, and case presentations followed by more discussion.
